RE-DESIGN Thinking Torre

RE-DESIGN Thinking Torre

The Autodrome Tower represents a symbolic element of strong international recognition, but today it is in a state of gradual abandonment. Unlike the other buildings in the circuit, it has not benefited from recent interventions, and this has led to obvious physical deterioration and extremely limited use. Although formally some floors still appear to be leased, the reality is that the tower is mostly empty and activated only at sporadic sporting events, such as Superbike.

The goal of the project is to transform the tower into a contemporary and flexible container, capable of responding to both local and international needs, through a series of targeted interventions: architectural rehabilitation, rebranding, incorporation of new public and technological functions, and a sustainable management model both financially and operationally. The new concept includes the creation of hybrid, multipurpose spaces, including lounge bars, event areas, coworking, Open Innovation Lab, demo space, and a technology observatory (Monitoring Building). The project also aims to stimulate the participation of the local productive fabric by offering shared spaces for exhibitions, co-development projects, training activities for young people and experimentation with smart materials. Even in the absence of major events such as Formula 1, the tower can thus become a stable attraction for the area, thanks to an innovative, accessible offer capable of generating long-term value.
